The Benjamin House Bar
At The Benjamin House Bar, history meets a shaker. Housed in a 1930s landmark once home to artists, writers and composers, the space hums with the charm of its past while cocktails, Champagne and grower wines take centre stage.
Each cocktail at The Benjamin House Bar, curated by Lauris Grass, is a little history lesson disguised as a drink – nods to interwar magazines, local luminaries, and European elegance mixed with bold flavors and playful twists. Sip a layer of storytelling, a dash of sophistication, and a splash of surprise, while small bites quietly complement the experience.
The Benjamin House Bar recommends: Murano – a bright, elegant mix of tequila, strawberry, rice milk, and citrus, as dazzling and refined as the largest Murano glass chandelier in the Baltics that lights up the bar.
Our choice: Drinking at the historic & legendary location of the bar requires class & historical insight too – so we’d start with the house cocktail Sensation, and continue with a bottle or two of something that was dearly valued during the Latvian independence times in the 30s – Champagne (Pierre Peters Blanc de Blancs will do nicely) and Mosel (Sybille Kuntz)!
