Harper Woolf

Tucked inside a 1790s building overlooking Riga’s Parliament, Harper Woolf is where heritage flirts with modern appetite. Under the creative eye of chef Artūrs Arnicāns, the menu bridges Latvian roots with international flair – built with produce from local farms, mushrooms from nearby forests, and a devotion to seasonality.

Then there’s the wine – bold, opinionated, and luxurious. Sommelier Ruslan Chaykovskyy curates a list that leans into ambition, heavy on grower Champagnes and names that make collectors pause mid-conversation. It’s brave, premium, and proudly unapologetic – the kind of list that doesn’t just complement dinner, it defines the evening.

Harper Woolf recommends: Sybille Kuntz Riesling Qualitätswein Trocken.

Our choice: A magnum of 2021 de Montille Le Clos du Château (Burgundy) to celebrate the rebirth of Harper Woolf’s restaurant and wine programme! An excellent job indeed!
